Most of those 25 years were spent as an acquisition professional, developing and evaluating Request for Proposals (RFP) used to ensure Warfighters deployed in theaters of operation had the best gear available to them. Dan's greatest achievement was his unique approach to acquisition strategies using both competitive and mandatory source vehicles to ensure Program Managers' cost, schedule, and performance goals were met. During the last 12 years with the government, Dan used this unique approach to build the acquisition strategies used to field multiple items including the Army Combat Uniform (ACU), Flame Resistant Army Combat Uniform (FR-ACU), the Army Combat Shirt (ACS) and multiple versions of Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern (OEFCP) Clothing and Individual Equipment.
Dan's unique experience and problem-solving techniques have created a high-performing DC Holdings team that can address the needs of the warfighter through a solution-based approach to current and future federal contracting opportunities.
